Hljóð og texti eru aldrei geymd á þjóninum. Uppskriftin er eingöngu geymd í þínu tæki, í vafranum eða appinu, og þú ræður hversu lengi.

Hvað gerist við hljóðið?

Upptakan fer um dulkóðaða tengingu til þjónsins okkar, sem sendir hana áfram til talgreiningarþjónustu. Talgreiningin fer fram innan Evrópusambandsins. Þjónninn okkar skrifar hljóðið aldrei á disk og heldur engu eftir þegar svar hefur borist. Talgreiningarþjónustan vinnur hljóðið í minni til að búa til textann og geymir það ekki að því loknu, nema að hún getur haldið eftir afriti í allt að 90 daga ef grunur vaknar um misnotkun. Hljóðið er ekki notað til að þjálfa líkön.

Hvað gerist við textann?

Textinn er sendur til baka í tækið þitt og geymdur þar eingöngu, í vafranum eða appinu. Sjálfgefið er að hann eyðist eftir 7 daga; þú getur breytt því í stillingum, eytt einstökum uppskriftum eða öllu í einu. Þjónninn geymir engan texta.

Hvað geymir þjónninn?

• Notandaaðgang: netfang, nafn, dulkóðað lykilorð og innskráningarlotur.
• Notkunartölur án innihalds: tímasetning, lengd hljóðs í sekúndum, stærð skrár, fjöldi tóka, svartími og hvort beiðni tókst. Þeim er eytt eftir 90 daga.

Vafrakökur

Ein vafrakaka heldur þér innskráðum. Engar greiningar- eða auglýsingakökur.

Þín ábyrgð

Þú berð ábyrgð á því efni sem þú talar inn. Það er á þína ábyrgð að fylgja öllum lögum og reglum sem gilda um miðlun viðkvæmra og persónugreinanlegra upplýsinga, þar á meðal persónuverndarlögum og reglum um sjúkraskrár og trúnaðarupplýsingar, áður en þú sendir slíkt efni í gegnum þjónustuna. Ef þú afritar eða deilir textanum í önnur forrit gilda skilmálar og persónuverndarstefna þeirra forrita um þá vinnslu.

Við fyrstu notkun í hverju tæki þarftu að staðfesta að þú hafir lesið þennan texta og samþykkir þessa ábyrgð. Staðfestingin er skráð á notandaaðganginn þinn með dagsetningu og útgáfu textans.

In short

Audio and text are never stored on the server. The transcript is kept only on your device, in the browser or the app, for as long as you choose.

What happens to the audio?

The recording travels over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it to a speech recognition service. The transcription takes place inside the European Union. Our server never writes the audio to disk and keeps nothing once the reply has arrived. The speech recognition service processes the audio in memory to produce the text and does not keep it afterwards, except that it may retain a copy for up to 90 days if abuse is suspected. The audio is not used to train models.

What happens to the text?

The text is returned to your device and stored there only, in the browser or the app. By default it is deleted after 7 days; you can change that in settings, delete single transcripts, or delete everything at once. The server stores no text.

What does the server keep?

• Your account: email, name, an encrypted password and sign-in sessions.
• Content-free usage numbers: timestamp, audio length in seconds, file size, token counts, response time and whether the request succeeded. Deleted after 90 days.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. No analytics or advertising cookies.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for what you dictate. It is your responsibility to comply with all laws and regulations that apply to the transmission of sensitive or personal data, including data protection law and rules on health records and confidential information, before sending such content through the service. If you copy or share the text into other apps, the terms and privacy policy of those apps apply to that processing.

On first use on each device you must confirm that you have read this text and accept this responsibility. The confirmation is recorded on your account with the date and the version of this text.
