Skrá tækið fyrir prófunarútgáfu

Til að setja upp prófunarútgáfu Dictate-appsins á iPhone þarf Apple að þekkja auðkenni tækisins (UDID). Þetta tekur um mínútu og þarf að gerast í Safari á símanum.

1. Ýttu á hnappinn hér að neðan og leyfðu niðurhal sniðsins.
2. Opnaðu Stillingar. Efst birtist „Snið sótt“ (Profile Downloaded); ýttu þar og veldu Setja upp. Sniðið er merkt „óstaðfest“; það er eðlilegt fyrir svona skráningarsnið.
3. Safari opnast aftur með auðkenninu. Því er sjálfkrafa komið til okkar.

Sniðið sendir aðeins gerð tækisins, iOS-útgáfu, raðnúmer og UDID. Það setur ekkert upp og má eyða strax á eftir.

Register this device for a test build

To install a test build of the Dictate app on an iPhone, Apple needs the device identifier (UDID). This takes about a minute and must be done in Safari on the phone.

1. Tap the button below and allow the profile download.
2. Open Settings. "Profile Downloaded" appears at the top; tap it and choose Install. The profile shows as "Not verified"; that is normal for this kind of registration profile.
3. Safari reopens with the identifier. It is sent to us automatically.

The profile sends only the device model, iOS version, serial number and UDID. It installs nothing and can be removed right afterwards.
